We at ChemDry Pretoria would like to make you aware of the following:  

  • Rugs are collected, cleaned, treated if necessary and re-delivered once ready. This is to ensure that all the different type of rugs get the correct treatment for the best possible results. 
  • We work on a first in first out basis.
  • Rugs that only require general cleaning will take 4-7 working days.
  • Rug/s that are being treated for Pet Urine Removal can take up to 14 working days. This treatment is a process and can not be rushed in order to get the desired results.
  • Rugs that have received PURT Treatment (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) must be unrolled immediately on delivery and be given time to “Breathe” as the product used keeps working for several days after application. If this is not done and the smell persists, we at ChemDry will not take responsibility. 
  • Kindly note that things out of our control, such as load shedding, excessive rain, high humidity levels etc. can mean that our processes are delayed and the rugs could take longer than our normal lead times.
  • Once the rugs are ready you will receive a SMS requesting payment if payment has not yet been received.
  • You can choose the option of paying CASH on delivery but you must respond to this effect on the SMS.
  • Once payment has been received you will receive a call to make a delivery arrangement with you.
  • All rug/s are sanitized free of charge.
  • A photo of your rug/s will be taken on collection of your rug/s.
  • Rug/s are only released once full payment has been received.
  • Rugs will only be done on site on Special Request if, they do not need to have any Pet Urine Removal Treatment, the customer has the space to effectively work on the rugs. 

NB: Rugs that are not paid with-in a 3-month period of collection will be donated, on your behalf, to a worthy cause.  We are unfortunately not a storage facility and undelivered rugs take up valuable space that we require in order to assist other customers.  Unpaid rugs also pose a huge risk to us if left in the warehouse for an extended period of time. 

NB: If your pet has soiled the rug, kindly remove the physical faeces/poo from the rug before collection.  Please do not attempt to clean the mark, only the removal of the solids is required.  Kindly note that if this is not done an additional surcharge of R150.00 excl. vat will be charged per rug with this issue. 

AREA RUG/S WAIVER AND DISCLAIMER

We at ChemDry, guarantee our workmanship when cleaning your area rug/s.  Obviously, we can not be responsible for unforeseeable manufacturer or use-related problems, such as fading, shrinkage, loss of shape, dry-rotting, water marking, loss of fibre strength (including tassel wear), moss damage, pet urine damage, backing deteriation, permanent discoloration or wear.  

PET URINE REMOVAL TREATMENT WAIVER & DISCLAIMER

Pet urine on rugs is considered permanent damage.

Pet Urine on rugs can permanently damage the rug. This damage can be diverse and dependent on the makeup of the urine.  Urine content will change over the pet’s life because of diet, medications, age, health, sex and reproductive cycle. Due to these variations, some urine stains may not be removable.  

Urine can affect the dyes used in the carpets and leave permanent stains.  Success in removing spots is dependent upon the content of the urine (especially ammonia levels), the dyes used on the rug and any treatments applied to the rugs during manufacturing.  

Other issues the Urine can and does cause: 

  • Separation of the backing material
  • Backing can disintegrate
  • Seams can separate 

We trust that you understand that your rug is currently damaged due to the urine deposits, as urine is a complex mixture of ingredients.  That you understand that undesirable results may occur in the form of browning, yellowing or discolouration.  

Our guarantee at ChemDry is to give you state of the art expertise and workmanship, combined with effective results consistent with the cleaning situation we encounter.  Every effort will be made to avoid even manufacturer-related problems.  However, we trust that you understand that there are risks involved that are beyond our control and that we cannot take responsibility for.
